Where will the workshop take place?

The workshop will be held at Foster Studios, 27-31 Verulam Road, St Albans, AL3 4DG.

What are the dates and daily timings?

The workshop runs from Monday 4th August to Friday 8th August. Each day begins at 10am and finishes at 3pm. We ask that participants arrive 10 minutes early.

Who is this workshop for?

It’s designed for young people aged 13–17 with an interest in storytelling, film, social media or digital content creation. No prior experience is needed — just enthusiasm and curiosity. What do participants need to bring?

All you need is a smartphone with a working camera and enough storage. We’ll provide everything else. Of course, there is no need to bring a phone if you do not own one - we can provide all kit.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes — all workshop leaders and support staff are enhanced DBS checked and experienced in working with young people.

Is food provided?

We provide light snacks and drinks each day, but we ask that all participants bring a packed lunch.

What happens after the workshop?

Each participant will receive a link to their finished film, along with a certificate of completion. We may also screen the films publicly (with consent) or feature them on our website or social media.
